Cybersecurity-focused SYN Ventures closes $300 mn VC fund

SYN Ventures, a VC firm founded and led by former Fortune 500 CISOs and C-level security leaders, announced the closing of its $300 million VC fund.

SYN Ventures will focus on early-stage start-ups in business areas such as cybersecurity, industrial security, national defense, privacy, regulatory compliance, and data governance.

SYN Ventures announced that Ryan Permeh, Co-Founder and former Chief Scientist of Cylance, has joined as an Operating Partner.
