Ambient Photonics Secures $30 mn in VC Funding to Revolutionize Connected Devices

Ambient Photonics, a pioneering company specializing in low-light energy harvesting technology for connected devices, has successfully secured $30 million in a Series A2 funding round.
VC funding for techThe round was spearheaded by Fine Structure Ventures, affiliated with the parent company of Fidelity Investments, and saw participation from prominent new investors including Helios Climate Ventures, Regeneration.VC, and Sustainable Future Ventures. Existing investors, I Squared Capital, Ecosystem Integrity Fund, and Cthulhu Ventures, also enthusiastically joined the funding raise.

Ambient Photonics’ innovative low-light energy harvesting technology is designed to replace disposable batteries in various connected devices, such as remote controls, keyboards, mice, electronic shelf labels, and sensors. This breakthrough technology offers a sustainable and eco-friendly solution to powering these devices, eliminating the need for battery replacements or recharging.
