Indian IT services company Wipro today said it is powering the Human Resources (HR) platform of the real estate firm Westfield, which has portfolio of 90 shopping centers in Australia, New Zealand, U.S. and U.K.
As per the IT deal, Wipro has deployed the latest version of Oracle PeopleSoft HCM v9.2 platform. The company did not share specific business benefits after the implementation.
The Bangalore Wipro said Wipro EasyU, an offshore upgrade lab and tool, assisted Westfield in impact analysis of their application landscape and accelerated the upgrade of custom components.
Peter Bourke, CIO, Westfield said: “As we grow, we required a future ready and scalable people platform and Wipro’s ability to deliver value, helped us standardize our process while working with Westfield as one team.”
The real estate sector is among the focus sectors for Wipro in the Asia Pacific region, specifically Australia.
