Wipro Appoints Brijesh Singh as Global AI Head for Wipro Enterprise Futuring

In a strategic move aimed at bolstering its artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities, Wipro, a prominent player in the technology services and consulting sector, has appointed Brijesh Singh as Senior Vice President and Global AI Head for Wipro Enterprise Futuring.

Prior to his new role at Wipro, Brijesh Singh held the position of Senior Partner at Deloitte, where he played a pivotal role in driving AI and data-centric transformations for the organization.

This announcement comes in the wake of Wipro’s recent declaration of a substantial $1 billion investment in AI to boost its revenue sources. The company unveiled its groundbreaking initiative, Wipro ai360, which is set to unite the expertise of around 30,000 Wipro professionals specializing in data analytics and AI. This collaborative effort will synergize with Wipro’s technology and advisory ecosystem from its four global business lines.

Wipro in July announced that it will train all 250,000 employees on AI fundamentals and responsible use of AI over the course of the next 12 months.

At the helm of Wipro’s AI endeavors, Brijesh Singh will spearhead the advancement of the ai360 strategy. His focus will be on developing robust capabilities to facilitate and accelerate the adoption of AI across Wipro’s extensive portfolio. He also aims to deliver AI-first solutions to clients, marking a significant stride towards the company’s commitment to embed responsible AI practices across all internal platforms, tools, and client offerings.

Brijesh Singh’s academic background is equally noteworthy, holding a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering from BIT Sindri. In his new role, he will report directly to Nagendra Bandaru, Managing Partner & President of Enterprise Futuring at Wipro.
