Virgin America taps Visa Checkout to process online payments

Virgin America, a California based airline, has launched Visa Checkout with a speedy way to process online payments.

Visa Checkout is designed to make online shopping as easy as physical card swipe. The consumers need not to enter the card details during the online checkout process wherever they see the Visa Checkout button.

In 2014, Virgin America’s website was redesigned to add a responsive design. The website was built entirely around the needs and preferences of the airline’s tech forward guests to be faster, more intuitive and device neutral so that all users have the same experience, whether they are accessing the site through laptops or mobile phones.

To celebrate and promote the launch of Visa Checkout, Virgin America guests will get $25 off a future flight when they pay with Visa Checkout on the airline’s website till 15th March, while supplies last.

Visa Checkout accepts any debit and credit card, including Virgin America Visa Signature Credit Card and Virgin America Platinum Visa Signature Card.

Travelers new to Visa Checkout can enroll through booking path on Virgin America’s website and once enrolled they provide their username and password to complete payment process without leaving the website.
