UST Announces Investment in VoerEir to Enhance Network Engineering for 5G and Beyond

UST, a prominent digital transformation solutions company, has revealed a strategic investment in VoerEir, a specialized Swedish software product company known for creating advanced software solutions for testing, benchmarking, and certifying physical and virtual networks of Communications Service Providers (CSP).

UST is extending its footprint by collaborating with innovative companies and strategically acquiring firms to address primary challenges faced by Tier-1 CSPs.

UST recently acquired MobileComm, a telecom engineering firm, for leveraging the network engineering capabilities.

UST combines its significant cloud, data, and DevSecOps expertise with VoerEir’s Touchstone platform, ensuring heightened network performance and reliability in a fully virtualized 5G network.

VoerEir’s market-leading Touchstone platform aids telecom operators in identifying and resolving pain points in their telecom cloud environments, enabling greater Network Functions Virtualization (NFV).

Touchstone, a test system, offers automated test cases and pre-packaged tools, empowering users to evaluate performance, functionality, stability, and security of their cloud infrastructure for telecom applications. This dynamic solution supports Openstack and Kubernetes environments and offers deployment support for both private and public cloud deployments.

UST’s investment positions VoerEir to scale its business by leveraging UST’s deep expertise in cloud solutions, artificial intelligence/machine learning, and the telecommunications sector. Javier Garcia Gomez, Chief Executive Officer of VoerEir, expressed excitement about the investment, emphasizing the alignment of visions between both companies to transform the telecommunications industry through cloud, data, and DevSecOps.

Aravind Nandanan, General Manager, Telecommunications at UST, highlighted the growth strategy focused on cloud, DevSecOps, and data, expressing eagerness to apply UST’s experience and insights to VoerEir’s innovative Touchstone platform. VoerEir’s current clientele includes major Tier-1 Europe-headquartered multinational CSPs and top-tier US-headquartered hyperscaler cloud providers.

The collaboration between VoerEir and UST sets the stage for offering cutting-edge solutions to Tier-1 CSPs, leveraging their combined strengths in telco network engineering, DevSecOps, and cloud capabilities.
