UST, a provider of digital transformation services, celebrated the opening of its expansive new office space within the International Tech Park in Hyderabad.
Boasting a sprawling 1,18,000-square-foot facility, the cutting-edge workspace is poised to house over 2,000 UST employees, focusing on pioneering research and development in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and IoT. With plans to double its headcount to 4,000 in the city over the next few years, this move underscores UST’s commitment to growth and innovation in the region.
The new office space is equipped with innovative technologies, including advanced video conferencing rooms, designated discussion areas, and workstations. The development center embodies UST’s global initiative to create inclusive and conducive work environments. UST did not reveal its investment in India.
Since its inception in 2018 with just 250 employees, UST’s presence in Hyderabad has flourished rapidly. Today, it stands as one of the company’s fastest-growing development centers in India, complementing its existing centers across multiple cities in the country.
Alexander Varghese, UST’s Chief Operating Officer, expressed gratitude to the Government of Telangana and CapitaLand Investment for their collaboration in establishing the expanded office. Varghese highlighted the potential to leverage local talent and contribute to Hyderabad’s growth within the global IT industry.
Venkata Peram, Center Head – Hyderabad at UST, emphasized the city’s status as an innovation hub, expressing pride in contributing to its technological advancements through UST’s expanding presence.
The new engineering lab at the Hyderabad office will host skilled engineers and researchers collaborating with clients, partners, and academia to develop groundbreaking solutions across sectors like healthcare, telecom, manufacturing, and more. This strategic move aligns with UST’s vision to establish Hyderabad as a global hub for technological innovation.
Moreover, UST’s partnership with T-Hub, the Telangana startup hub, signifies a step towards harnessing the burgeoning innovation ecosystem. This collaboration aims to co-create cutting-edge, technology-driven solutions with startups, further amplifying UST’s impact in addressing customer needs.
