Ukrainian Processing Center (UPC) has deployed NCR Authentic to deliver payment services across Central and Eastern Europe.
To handle transactions from all channels across the enterprise from ATM and POS to ecommerce and mobile, NCR launched the latest version of Authentic, its transaction processing solution from Alaric, an NCR business, few weeks ago.
UPC has selected Authentic after a competitive bid process because of its modern architecture, flexibility and ease of configuration.
NCR said, Authentic has replaced UPC’s legacy system and allows payment processor to keep pace with new industry requirements.
UPC manages more than 7,700 ATMs, nearly 60,000 POS terminals and processes up to 60 million transactions every month.
Authentic can handle any type of transaction and accepts transactions from any device, source or system and map them into a common format before authorizing and authenticating each transaction and routing them to any destination.
Another reason why UPC has selected Authentic is that the platform can easily met UPC’s requirement of processing 500 transactions per second.
“Authentic provided all the necessary features for ATM and POS processing, which was essential for us,” explained Sergey Vetrenko, chief operating officer (COO) at UPC.
