Infotech Lead America: CSC, a global IT services company, has named Thomas E. Hogan as president of Applications and Services.
Hogan will report to CSC President and Chief Executive Officer Mike Lawrie.
In his new role, Hogan will be responsible for the strategy and execution of CSC’s commercial-focused consulting, systems integration, application services and software IP pursuits, which span more than 90 countries and all major industries.
Hogan will also lead CSC’s geographies, ensuring that the company’s capabilities are delivered throughout regional and local accounts.
Hogan previously served in a variety of senior executive positions at HP from 2006 through early 2011, most recently as executive vice president of sales and marketing. Prior to HP, Hogan served as the chief executive officer of Vignette, a publicly held software company that specializes in enterprise content management.
Hogan is charged with creating an integrated consulting, applications, software and software testing business that develops branded solutions incorporating industry-specific IP and technology from CSC’s strategic alliance partners.
“Tom is a proven performer and his vast leadership will help accelerate the execution of our turnaround strategy. I couldn’t be more pleased to have him on our team,” said Lawrie.
