Technicolor Creative Studios Chooses Cognizant as IT & Digital Transformation Partner

Technicolor Creative Studios, a creative technology company providing premium VFX services to the entertainment, media, and advertising industries, has selected Cognizant as its IT and Digital Transformation partner.
Cognizant employeesThis five-year partnership marks a significant step in Technicolor Creative Studios’ journey towards enhancing its IT infrastructure and embracing innovative technologies to continue delivering cutting-edge visual experiences to its clients.

Cognizant, which competes with Accenture, Wipro, Infosys, HCL Tech, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), among others, did not reveal the financial details of the tech services deal with Technicolor Creative Studios.

Under this agreement, Cognizant will provide an end-to-end managed service encompassing Technicolor Creative Studios’ users, applications, and infrastructure. The primary objective is to establish a managed service that supports the company’s corporate applications efficiently, Rohit Gupta, UK&I Managing Director at Cognizant, said.

Technicolor Creative Studios is known for its award-winning teams of artists and technologists who are pushing the boundaries of visual effects and experiences, including 3D Mapping Projections, Ambient Interactivity, Augmented and Virtual Reality, and Artificial Intelligence.

This partnership follows Technicolor SA’s decision in early 2022 to separate into two independent listed companies. Post-spinoff, Technicolor Creative Studios had been operating under a Transfer Service Agreement, necessitating the creation of its own IT organization to support Enterprise IT and Creative Production Network.

“As we transform Technicolor Creative Studios to be best positioned to produce outstanding content for our clients, it is important we advance our IT estate to provide the best tools and experience to our staff, which we look forward to achieving in collaboration with Cognizant,” Praveen Vadlamani, SVP Infrastructure & Technology at Technicolor Creative Studios, said.
