Tech Mahindra has won a tech contract from KWC Group AG, a manufacturer specializing in premium taps and sanitary solutions.
Tech Mahindra will undertake a substantial portion of KWC’s IT services, streamlining and consolidating existing services under a single dedicated provider. This move aims to enhance operational efficiency and align IT services with KWC’s overarching business objectives.
Tech Mahindra did not reveal the financial details of the tech contract with KWC Group. Tech Mahindra recently reported revenue of $1,573 million (up 1.1 percent QoQ and down 5.7 percent YoY) with net profit of $61 million during October-December quarter of 2023.
Tech Mahindra’s role in KWC’s transformational journey will center on leveraging automation to optimize IT operations across the company’s business applications and global IT infrastructure. The partnership is poised to standardize global system management and elevate end-user services, with the ultimate goal of enhancing operational efficiencies across KWC’s value chain.
Furthermore, Tech Mahindra will assume responsibility for managing KWC’s end-to-end IT operations, prioritizing customer-centricity and measurable business growth to deliver superior customer experiences.
KWC has achieved notable milestones since its acquisition by Equistone in the previous year, particularly in cloud-based solutions. Leveraging SAP Public Cloud solutions, KWC transitioned its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Product Data Management (PDM), Human Resources (HR), and marketing applications to a fully cloud-based landscape. This cloud infrastructure now serves all KWC entities across China, the Middle East, and Europe.
