Infotech Lead Asia: Tata Elxsi has adopted Microsoft’s Unified Communication (UC) services for better collaboration among their employees.
Tata Elxsi has deployed Office 365 E1 including Exchange Online, Lync Online, Sharepoint Online, and Office Professional Plus.
Microsoft Office 365 products will serve 4000 users and the quantity can be scaled up in the future as the company expects increase in headcount.
The new Unified Communication services will support real time communication between employees, customers and partners enabling faster decision making. Such tools are pivotal in the future expansion of the company as most of the business deals are global in nature and require intensive communication and collaboration among functions, teams and individuals across geographies and development centers.

Microsoft Office 365 catered to our requirements that are pivotal for our business in the long run. Our employees find these services very user friendly and it reduces the time and increases productivity manifold,” said BS Lokeshwaran, vice president – Information Technology, Tata Elxsi.
Tata Elxsi selected Microsoft’s UC services over Google as its found the services more secure and economical.
