Content discovery platform Taboola has announced a strategic partnership with NBC Sports Digital to implement Taboola’s personalized content recommendations across 16 of their websites.
In a statement NBC Sports Digital said that they would implement the content recommendations on their websites including NBCSports, GolfChannel, Rotoworld and local NBC Sports Regional Network sites. The move will enable NBC Sports Digital to provide a more engaging experience for their audience, while increasing page views and generating revenue.
All 16 websites included within the strategic agreement are premier digital sports destinations, with many offering 24/7 news coverage and extensive live-event streaming to sports fans in the U.S.
Taboola will help with this effort by delivering a seamless integration of customized content recommendations to users based on an algorithm that examines context, browsing history, collaborative filtering, geographic location, and social media trends.
