SIDDCO Plastics (SPL), a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) bottle manufacturer in the UAE, has implemented the enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution Epicor ERP to automate processes, streamline its supply chain, improve quality, and reduce costs.
Each department in SIDDCO had its own disparate system prior to implementing Epicor ERP. The earlier system limited visibility, transparency and information exchange across the business of SIDDCO.
SIDDCO Group selected Epicor ERP because it was easy to customise, has strong reporting and analytics capabilities that allow its 40 users access to the information with a few clicks, enabling them to make real-time decisions.
“Serving as the backbone of our business, the solution has given us real-time process control, data integrity, traceability, security and agility which has allowed us to improve our operations and ultimately grow our business,” said Saymaad Mansoor, head of IT, SIDDCO Group.
Monzer Tohme, regional vice president, Middle East and Africa, Epicor Software, was instrumental in bagging the ERP contract from SIDDCO Plastics.
