Global engineering group SEGULA India has opened a new office in Pune, dedicated to the development of embedded software to tap the electric vehicle market.
SEGULA India plans to recruit around 500 engineers, especially engineers responsible for software and embedded systems, mechanical plastic engineers, process engineers, manufacturing engineers and data scientists.
SEGULA Technologies has already been working in various industry sectors in India since 2012 and currently has more than 700 employees in Chennai, Delhi, and Pune.
“We look forward to welcoming hundreds of new qualified engineers at SEGULA India,” says Dwijottam Ganguli, Managing Director of SEGULA India. “By joining us they will have the opportunity to work on varied and large-scale local and global projects and to deepen their knowledge in all aspects of new technologies around e-mobility.”
The SEGULA teams in Pune will support major OEM and automotive Tier 1 suppliers in the development and production of more sustainable and competitive cars. They will focus on the design and development of embedded software, whereas the teams based in Chennai will work on product and process engineering.
