Business software major SAP has launched SAP Leonardo Center — the fourth SAP Leonardo Center globally — in Bangalore, India.
SAP, a Germany based software company, earlier opened Leonardo centers in New York (U.S.), Paris (France), and Sao Leopoldo (Brazil).
SAP India in a statement said that its first Leonardo center in Asia Pacific will create a ecosystem for boosting digital inspiration and co-innovation. The company opened the center in the new 5.15 lakh square feet facility of SAP Labs India Bengaluru campus which was inaugurated earlier this year.
“We look forward to accelerating the digital transformation of our customers using Design Thinking methodology and unleashing the potential of SAP Leonardo, our digital innovation portfolio,” said Tanja Rückert, president of IoT and Digital Supply Chain at SAP.
SAP Leonardo facility in Bangalore will showcase elements of digital transformation like IoT, Blockchain, Analytics, Machine Learning, Big Data, Data Intelligence and SAP Cloud Platform. The center will offer access to SAP’s industry knowledge and technology capabilities across 25 industries.
“As SAP’s largest Research and Development Center outside its headquarters in Germany and a part of a connected lab network of 20 labs in 17 countries, the launch of SAP Leonardo Center at SAP Labs Bangalore campus was a natural choice,” said Dilipkumar Khandelwal, president, SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud and managing director, SAP Labs India.
