SAP Labs India in Bangalore will be expanded.

The sustainable, LEED-certified building, located in the SAP Whitefield eco-friendly campus in Bangalore, will be operational in 2016.

SAP Labs India has contributed significantly to the recent innovations from SAP such as SAP HANA.

“India is among the growth markets for SAP both from a talent and business perspective. This new facility is keeping in pace with the global expansion plan of SAP,” said Gerhard Oswald, member of the Executive Board.

SAP Labs India will follow sustainable design and building principles according to the certification of sustainability of the LEED Institute.

Built primarily of sustainable building materials with low environmental degradation, the facility will have water reuse capabilities, smart energy consumption meters, high indoor environment quality standards and environmentally safe waste disposal facilities.
