Business software major SAP announced S/4HANA deal with REV Group to integrate the disparate legacy systems.
SAP said the real-time intelligence of SAP S/4HANA will assist REV Group, a maker of recreational and emergency vehicles, to manage the company’s operations, from material sourcing to customer service.
REV Group will employ SAP S/4HANA to import transactional-level data from both SAP and non-SAP software in real time for complete financial visibility.
REV Group CEO Tim Sullivan said: “With SAP, we are bringing process excellence to our organization that enables us to efficiently merge those acquisitions into our organization and to drive efficiencies, view our business in real time and accelerate growth across the enterprise.”
DJ Paoni, managing director, Midwest, SAP North America, was instrumental in bagging the deal from REV Group.
SAP S/4HANA enables REV Group to standardize its core business across the organization with incredible speed. This speed, coupled with the company’s ability to improve forecast accuracy through SAP S/4HANA means that REV Group can realize a shorter return on investment in its acquisitions.
REV Group is adopting SAP S/4HANA – including SAP S/4HANA Finance solution, SAP S/4HANA Automotive solution, the SAP Fiori user experience, the SAP Enable Now solution, SAP Data Services software and SAP Solution Manager – across all its core business functions.
With SAP S/4HANA as the digital core of REV Group’s operations, data from across the company’s diverse set of brands can be consolidated onto a single platform. This will enable REV Group to gain full visibility, connect all the company’s processes and benefit from insights that help leaders make informed business decisions.
