Salesforce, the global leader in CRM, announced results for its first quarter fiscal 2023 ended April 30, 2022.

San-Francisco-based Salesforce said its revenue rose 24 percent in the first quarter to $7.41 billion from a year earlier. Net income of Salesforce fell to $28 million from $469 million.
Salesforce said Subscription and support revenues for the quarter were $6.86 billion, an increase of 24 percent year-over-year. Professional services and other revenues for the quarter were $0.56 billion, an increase of 30 percent year-over-year.
Salesforce has generated first quarter revenue of $4.971 billion ($4.094 billion) from Americas, $1.738 billion ($1.302 billion) from Europe and $702 million ($567 million) from the Asia Pacific region.
Marc Benioff, Co-CEO of Salesforce, said: “There is no greater measure of our resilience and the momentum in our business than the $42 billion we have in remaining performance obligation, representing all future revenue under contract.”
