Salesforce revenue indicates growing CRM business

Salesforce.com CEO Marc BenioffBusiness software company Salesforce said its revenue has reached $1.92 billion (+27 percent) in first quarter ended April 30, 2016.

Marc Benioff, chairman and CEO, Salesforce, said: “Given the strong response to our Customer Success Platform, we are raising our fiscal 2017 revenue guidance by $80 million to reach $8.2 billion at the high end of the range.”

Salesforce generated $1.78 billion (+26 percent) from subscription revenues and $141 million (+33 percent) from professional services.

Revenue of Salesforce in Q2 fiscal 2017 is projected to be approximately $2.005 billion to $2.015 billion (+23 percent) and $8.16 billion to $8.20 billion (+22 percent) in fiscal 2017.
