Business software major Salesforce on Tuesday announced plans to expand its presence in India with a centre of excellence in Hyderabad.
Salesforce will begin moving into the new Centre of Excellence by the end of 2016.
The US-based CRM vendor also plans to add more than 1,000 jobs in Hyderabad by 2020. Salesforce will expand its enterprise software engineers as well as customer success representatives in Hyderabad.
Parker Harris, co-founder of Salesforce.com, said: “Salesforce Hyderabadwill provide a centre of excellence in the region and play a crucial role in growing our technology and product teams, as well as our customer success organization, to meet the needs of our customers worldwide.”
Market research agency Gartner said the public cloud services market in India will grow 30.4 percent in 2016 to $1.26 billion.
Salesforce India has added enterprise clients such as BajajFinserv, PayTM, Snapdeal, Inmobi and Urban Ladder using its Customer Success Platform to connect with their customers in new ways.
