Riverbed Technology to strengthen channel presence

Infotech Lead America: Riverbed Technology is set to strengthen its channel presence by hiring two key executives.

Riverbed Technology has appointed Rob Rosiello as vice president of channel sales for the Americas.

Nino D’Auria has joined the company as vice president of channel sales for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

Rosiello and D’Auria will be responsible for building partner success, customer satisfaction and Riverbed revenue within their respective regions.

These new appointments will enable Riverbed to ensure the right approach for people, processes, and programs to maximize the channel impact within each respective geographical region.

Rosiello will enhance the company’s go-to-market approach to drive alignment and optimization across all partner segments in the Americas

D’Auria will lead the channel initiatives and focus on accelerating the company’s business momentum across its entire portfolio of channel communities in EMEA.

Prior to joining Riverbed, Rosiello was a channel executive at Motorola Solutions with prior leadership positions at Alcatel, Riverstone Networks, and Cabletron Systems.

Prior to joining Riverbed, D’Auria was chief executive officer of Lutech, an Italian system integrator.

Prior to Lutech, he worked at EMC as vice president and regional country manager for Italy and was a member of the EMEA management team. D’Auria also worked at Compaq and Digital Equipment in a variety of roles including channel sales manager and global accounts manager.

“Based on their proven track records, Rob and Nino are the right executives to lead our channel strategy and refine our go-to-market strategy in the Americas and EMEA,” said Randy Schirman, senior vice president of worldwide channel sales at Riverbed.

More than 19,000 organizations depend on Riverbed to understand, optimize and consolidate their IT infrastructure, through solutions that overcome performance issues caused by distance, distributed computing, and ever increasing amounts of data.
