Red Hat has introduced a new business resource planner to help enterprises quickly and efficiently address complex scheduling and resource planning challenges.
The new business planner is a part of Red Hat JBoss BPM Suite and Red Hat JBoss BRMS and is included with a subscription to JBoss BRMS at no addional cost.
The planner is based on the open source OptaPlanner JBoss community and is also designed to increase operational adaptability in the face of rapidly changing and unpredictable business environments.
The enterprises can use limited resources in a more cost effective manner with the help of Red Hat’s business resource planning technology.
Company officials said that business resource planning in conjunction with rules based technology provides a unique and powerful combination that allows greater scale and adaptability.
JBoss BPM Suite, Red Hat’s business process management offering includes all resource planning and business rules management components.
The latest version of the products JBoss BPM Suite 6.1 and JBoss BRMS 6.1 are available today.
Company officials said the latest versions introduce new capabilities and enhancements such as social collaboration tools, a realtime decision server, full support for runtime engine deployments on Apache Karaf, deployments on Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform, IBM WebSphere Application Server and Oracle WebLogic Server, and certified integration with Red Hat’s lightweight application integration offering,JBoss Fuse.
JBoss BPM Suite and JBoss BRMS can be downloaded by the members of the JBoss Developer community.

Last month, Red Hat announced new product enhancements, Red Hat JBoss Data Virtualization 6.1 and Red Hat JBoss Data Grid 6.4, designed to help enterprises get even more out of their big data solutions to make better and faster business decisions.
