Persistent Systems’ 9-months revenue up 14.7% to $175.71 million

Infotech Lead Asia: Software product and technology services provider Persistent Systems has posted 14.7 percent increase in revenue for nine months ended December 31, 2012 to $175.71 million.

Persistent Systems’ profit after tax for nine months increased 35 percent to 1,357.33 million.

IP-led business contributed 17.1 percent of the revenue for nine months ended December 31, 2012.

Utilization improved q-o-q by 1.8 percent to 79.5 percent.

Product Engineering Services grew steadily quarter on quarter. The company has strengthened and expanded its partnership with Dassault Systèmes as an authorized VAR for Dassault Systèmes’ in the United States.

Its recent acquisition of NovaQuest, a product lifecycle management (PLM) and search based technology solutions provider, enabled the company to extend PLM business across new industry verticals.

The company sees business opportunities across all focus areas in cloud computing, collaboration, analytics and mobility.
