P3 Launches AI Factory in India, Targets 2,000 AI Engineers to Accelerate Global Expansion

Germany-based technology consulting company P3 is strengthening its global artificial intelligence strategy with the launch of its AI Factory in India under the brand P3 re:invent. The new initiative marks a major step in the company’s international expansion plans as it positions India as a strategic hub for AI-led innovation, engineering, and delivery services.

P3 has already launched operations in Chennai and Pune, while expansion into Bangalore is underway as part of the next growth phase. Over the next three years, the company plans to scale its India-based workforce to more than 2,000 data and AI engineers, significantly increasing its capabilities in artificial intelligence, automation, analytics, and digital transformation services.

The expansion is aimed at supporting global customers across key industries including automotive, banking and financial services, telecommunications, logistics, defence, and energy. The AI Factory will focus on developing and deploying industry-specific AI solutions with strong emphasis on generative AI and agentic AI technologies.

As part of the leadership expansion, Sundar Ramamoorthy has been appointed CEO India and Global CTO of P3 re:invent. Sundar Ramamoorthy brings more than 20 years of international experience spanning AI, enterprise automation, data platforms, and large-scale digital transformation programs. He will lead the build-out and scaling of P3’s India AI Factory and oversee its integration into the company’s global AI innovation network.

Robert Rendl said the appointment of Sundar Ramamoorthy and the expansion of the Chennai operations will help P3 strengthen its AI advisory capabilities while accelerating implementation speed and delivery quality at scale. According to the company, the combination of consulting expertise and scalable engineering execution differentiates P3 in the rapidly evolving AI services market.

Hakan Ekmen highlighted that AI leadership has become central to the company’s long-term growth strategy. He noted that the India AI Factory will help accelerate development of next-generation AI solutions designed to improve operational efficiency and business transformation for global customers.

The India AI Factory will support end-to-end AI and data services including advanced analytics, generative AI engineering, cloud-native architectures, digital platforms, MLOps, and customer experience transformation. P3 is also focusing on enabling autonomous AI-powered operations across industries, ranging from autonomous telecom networks and connected vehicles to intelligent banking systems, autonomous supply chains, and AI-driven energy infrastructure.
