Orange taps E2open for supply chain visibility

Orange has selected E2open to enable global supply chain visibility and enhance supplier collaboration.

Orange will utilize E2open’s collaborative supply chain management (SCM) solutions to improve overall supply chain performance.

With this partnership E2open will provide near real-time visibility and Orange will have collaborative supply planning and shared forecasts with suppliers.

Additionally Orange will have improved order management and logistics and exception-based management.

“We selected E2open as our platform to achieve end-to-end visibility, connectivity and collaboration across our global supply network,” said Patrice Cointe, Group Supply Chain Director at Orange.

E2open has implemented solutions for a number of leading telecom providers by delivering rapid time-to-value with collaborative solutions to orchestrate the extended trading partner network.

In July 2013, L’Oreal tapped E2open to improve operational efficiencies and service levels in Europe.
