Oracle strengthens EPM offering

Infotech Lead America: Oracle now offers the Oracle Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) System Release 11.1.2.3. The latest release aims to make managing ERP application data and investments simpler.

The older version was released in April last year. This latest version been updated to improve user experience and includes new integrations. Enterprises can leverage their ERP application data to derive valuable insights that can improve decision making.

The latest version features a new data relationship governance module for Oracle Data Relationship Management customers. This module provides workflows that can be configured to improve management of financial master data.

Oracle Hyperion EPM System Release 11.1.2.3 has been updated to enable organizations to plan and forecast often to  identify profitable growth opportunities and provide real-time management insights into financial and operational results.

Oracle’s Hyperion EPM Applications offer solutions for strategy management, planning and forecasting, financial close and reporting as well as profitability and cost management. It is designed to align strategy, plans and execution.

As a part of Oracle Business Analytics, Oracle Hyperion EPM Applications combine industry-leading enterprise performance management applications with business intelligence technology and analytic applications.

Oracle Business Analytics lays the foundation for creating an analytics-driven culture that uses real-time insights to improve business outcomes while simplifying IT and managing risk.

Oracle Financial Management Analytics and Oracle Hyperion Financial Close Management have been revamped with capabilities that improve reporting. Users can align tax information, increase the accuracy and efficiency of the corporate tax provisioning process.

Oracle Hyperion Planning combined with the master data governance features in Oracle Hyperion Financial Data Quality Management and Oracle Data Relationship Management helps organizations to gain greater benefit from their investment right away and better manage change.

Last year Oracle bought software maker Eloqua, provider of  cloud-based marketing and revenue performance management software for $871 million, to add to the Oracle Customer Experience offering.
