Oracle SOA Suite selected by Advanstar, Arcor, Fluid-e and Norway Post

Enterprise IT vendor Oracle said businesses such as Advanstar, Arcor, Fluid-e and Norway Post are deploying Oracle SOA Suite to simplify application integration and gain business results.

In addition, Oracle said the Oracle SOA Suite, a unified application integration and SOA solution to speed time to market, respond faster to business requirements and lower costs, has nearly 5,000 enterprise customers from varied industries across the globe.

The proliferation of cloud applications and mobile devices has created unique integration challenges for businesses.

OSI Consulting, a member of Oracle PartnerNetwork, is implementing the recently released Oracle Cloud Adapter for Salesforce.com for its customer Avanstar, an event and marketing services company, to integrate Oracle E-Business Suite with Salesforce.com.

Arcor SAIC, one of the customers, has implemented the Oracle SOA Suite to increase productivity and establish operational best practices to modernize legacy IT infrastructure.

Oscar Botto, CIO, Arcor SAIC, said: “Oracle SOA Suite enabled us to implement a simplified, standardized resource planning platform for all business units, and also allowed us to extend our offerings and services to our customer and partner network via the cloud.”

Fluid-e utilized Oracle SOA Suite to facilitate better collaboration between the regional food producers and retail-chains within its network and boost revenues.

Mael Barraud, CEO, Fluid-e, said: “Oracle SOA Suite served as key foundational technologies behind the collaborative portal, and it enabled us to create and launch the portal in six months. As a result, we have enabled more than 20 food product suppliers within our network to access new distribution channels and increase their sales.”
