SAP announced that openSAP learning platform has registered five million course registrations. The learning platform offers free online courses conducted by SAP experts, as well as accompanying microlearning and podcasts on a variety of topics.
The aim of OpenSAP, which started in 2013, was to familiarize individuals with the SAP software landscape and to acquire the necessary skills.
OpenSAP is hosted and operated by the Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI), which is headed by Prof. Dr. Christoph Meinel is headed. Years of close cooperation with the HPI is the basis for successful joint development.
In the last three years the number of course registrations has doubled. The 250 different courses have an average of 20,000 enrollments per course, which corresponds to a total of 1.2 million learners. Training courses on innovations and current topics such as SAP S / 4HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform, intelligent integration, digital transformation and machine learning are in great demand.
“In view of the enormous need for qualifications in the current phase of digitization, SAP continues to invest in removing obstacles to learning – through free offers such as openSAP,” says Maxwell Wessel, EVP and Chief Learning Officer at SAP.
OpenSAP is offering the SAP’s Integrated Intelligent Suite course for a further five months. This means that by the end of July, more learners will have the opportunity to acquire important knowledge and qualify for a certificate of achievement.
