NetBeans IDE is a free, open source IDE. It is available for Windows, Mac, Oracle Solaris, Oracle Linux, and other Linux distributions. The new enhanced editor has additional new features such as Breadcrumbs support and access to Clipboard History. NetBeans IDE 7.3 includes new support for profiling Java applications on Linux ARM based systems, such as the Raspberry Pi.
India application development market to reach $227 million in 2012, says Gartner.
In its report ‘Market Trends: Application Development Software, Worldwide, 2012-2016,’ Gartner reported that the application development (AD) software market in India is expected to grow 22.6 percent over 2011 to reach more than $227 million in 2012.
Mobile AD projects targeting smartphones and tablets are expected to outnumber native PC projects by a ratio of 4:1 by 2015. The changes are driven by emerging mobile applications, systems and devices.
