NEC, Sypris bag contract to develop Cyber Security Lab for Singapore Govt

NEC Asia Pacific and Sypris Electronics have won a contract to develop a Cyber Security Laboratory for the Singapore Government.

As per the IT deal, NEC and Sypris bag will deploy a simulation-based training and modeling platform that will provide a hands-on environment for the participants to hone their skills in countering cyber-attacks.

“With the increasingly complex and sophisticated attacks from cyber criminals, an organization faces a multitude of cyber security risks to its IT systems, ranging from web defacement and malware infections to network and operation system attacks,” said Toshiya Matsuki, chief executive officer, NEC Asia Pacific.
