NCR solutions helping Delaware North Sportservice to manage inventory

Delaware North Sportservice, which operates Amalie Arena for the Tampa Bay Lightning, has integrated its retail point-of-sale (POS) and inventory management systems through NCR Counterpoint.

In a press statement, NCR said, Delaware North Sportservice has a single retail management software platform, the NCR Counterpoint, to closely track purchases and inventory levels in real-time across its Lightning stores within the Tampa arena.

NCR noted that its solutions are helping Delaware North Sportservice to improve inventory tracking. It also said NCR’s real-time data insights will help Delaware to better control costs through tighter re-order points, increase visibility on mark-up ratios, and improve inventory decision making across multiple locations.

The Tampa Bay Lightning have relied on NCR technology for a number of years, including the use of NCR Quest Venue Management software at concession stands throughout the arena.

“With NCR Counterpoint, we have access to a tremendous amount of data and purchasing insight to help with inventory control and plan future marketing promotions,” said Bruce Ground, general manager, Delaware North. “NCR Counterpoint is helping us operate our stores more efficiently and effectively.”
