NCR launches Retail One Commerce Hub

NCR Corporation has launched a new commerce hub, NCR Retail ONE, to provide frictionless shopping experiences for consumers.

According to NCR new commerce hub unites an open ecosystem of retail applications and data with an omnichannel software platform.

NCR Retail ONE allow retailers to mix and match innovative applications from NCR, its partners and third parties that can be easily and seamlessly deployed and its cloud, on-premise software or hybrid implementations provide retailers with the choice and flexibility they value.

The company said NCR Retail ONE also provides an evolutionary path for retailers as they prepare for and seek to capitalize on a future enabled by the Internet of Things (IoT) and Big Data.

In addition, to shift from store-centric to customer centric, NCR Retail ONE commerce hub can be implemented using the cloud, on-premises software or a hybrid of both.

The new commerce hub provides faster time to market and accelerating innovation by breaking down technology silos and enabling true omnicommerce.

NCR Retail ONE offers a cost-effective, gradual transition by integrating and leveraging existing hardware and software assets to increase the efficiency of retail operations.

Additionally, NCR has also announced that leading retail technology innovators, including Microsoft, Inmar, Freshub, Cisco and Intel, have voiced support for the NCR Retail ONE commerce hub vision and strategy.

With NCR Retail ONE, connecting with Freshub’s eCommerce system is easier. Freshub can deploy its technology even faster, which provides value for retailers and their customers.

Inmar integrates into the NCR Retail One ecosystem and enable retailers to maintain strategic control of promotion programs, respond to growing consumer use of digital offers and grow revenue from promotion-driven sales and increased store traffic.
