Nasscom to conduct product conclave in Kochi, Kerala

The National Association of Software and Services Companies (Nasscom) has decided to conduct its NASSCOM Product Conclave (NPC Cochin 2014) in Kochi, Kerala on May 30.

This is for the first time that Kerala is hosting such a big event that can improve the IT investment in the Southern state.

Earlier, software business hubs including Bangalore, Hyderabad and Pune were the hosting cities for the product conclave of Nasscom.

NPC Cochin 2014 is expected to bring together India’s technology leaders, emerging companies and start-ups under one roof.

Kerala IT, under the Department of Information Technology, is one of the key sponsors of the annual meet. The objective of Kerala IT is to create a platform for startups to share knowledge and get support for building their markets and secure funding.

“This is the right time for Kochi to host this remarkable event as the city is now viewed as a strategic hub of Indian product start-ups.  It is a big opportunity for emerging companies in Kerala to find new avenues for growth both in terms of new business co-operations and funding,” said Infopark Chief Executive Officer Hrishikesh Nair.

The meet is expected to see a turnout of over 150 delegates and a lineup of software developers, venture capitalists and emerging IT firms across the country.
