Monday.com, a leading Work Operating System (Work OS) platform, has disclosed its financial performance for the fiscal year 2023, showcasing remarkable growth in revenue and significant advancements in product offerings.
Monday.com reported a revenue of $202.6 million in Q4 2023, marking a 35 percent increase compared to the previous year’s fourth-quarter.
The 2023 witnessed impressive figures, with revenue soaring to $729.7 million, reflecting a substantial 41 percent surge. This surge was primarily attributed to robust customer acquisition and expansion efforts, particularly evident in the larger accounts segment.
Monday.com noted an increase in the number of paid customers with annual recurring revenue (ARR) exceeding $50,000, which rose to 2,295, showcasing a 56 percent growth from the previous year. The number of paid customers with ARR surpassing $100,000 saw a significant rise to 833, indicating a 58 percent increase from the figures reported in 2022.
One of the highlights of the year was the unveiling of monday code, an innovative serverless environment integrated within the Work OS platform. This environment allows developers to construct and deploy enterprise-grade applications tailored to meet the unique requirements of customers, all while adhering to monday.com’s stringent security and compliance standards.
Moreover, the company introduced several new capabilities and features throughout the year, including monday AI and monday workflows, aimed at enhancing user experience and bolstering security measures. The introduction of mondayDB, a significant infrastructure upgrade, substantially boosted board performance by up to 5x.
Commenting on the company’s progress, the CEO of monday.com expressed enthusiasm about entering phase 2.0 of mondayDB, focusing on addressing complex work scenarios and enabling customers to manage workflows at scale without encountering performance limitations.
Monday.com unveiled an updated pricing model ahead of schedule and expanded the availability of monday sales CRM to a broader customer base, resulting in strong demand and considerable growth in CRM accounts.
The introduction of monday dev, a suite of tools designed to empower product and development teams, further solidified the company’s commitment to innovation. The product is expected to be available to all customers by the end of Q1’24.
Furthermore, the company witnessed substantial growth in its enterprise customer base, adding 821 new enterprise customers with ARR exceeding $50,000 during FY’23. This growth was supported by the ongoing enhancement of enterprise-grade capabilities, including the deployment of mondayDB.
Looking ahead, monday.com anticipates continued growth in revenue for fiscal year 2024, with revenue projected to range between $926 million to $932 million, representing a robust 27 percent to 28 percent year-over-year increase.
