Microsoft will eliminate 1,200 jobs as part of shutting down its Web display advertising operations, Bloomberg reported on Monday.
The software giant is holding talks with AOL and AppNexus to sell the operations although a deal has not been finalized.
Earlier this month, Verizon Communications acquired AOL.
