Microsoft presents small changes to Office.com and Office 365

Microsoft Office pricing planSoftware major Microsoft today announced the latest changes to Office.com and Office 365, two productivity tools for enterprises and individuals.

The focus of Microsoft is to encourage more buyers for its productivity apps and services and improve revenue.

Microsoft Office comes with an updated version of the ribbon designed to help users focus on their work and collaborate naturally with others. People who prefer to dedicate more screen space to the commands will be able to expand the ribbon to the three-line view.

Microsoft Office will have new icons and colors built as scalable graphics. Microsoft said these changes are designed to modernize Office design and make it more accessible. Know more about Office 365 Email Migration Service and Microsoft SharePoint Migration.

The software company said search will become a more important element of the user experience, providing access to commands, content and people. With zero query search placing cursor in the search box will bring recommendations powered by AI and the Microsoft Graph.

“Through gathering feedback from thousands of people, we’ve found that people react most positively to feeling in control, productive and secure,” said Trish Miner, principal design researcher, Microsoft.
