Microsoft extends Windows 8.1 Update deadline to 10 June

Microsoft today said it would extend the deadline for updating devices to the Windows 8.1 Update to receive security updates by another 30 days to 10 June.

Consumer customers who do not update their Windows 8.1 devices to the Windows 8.1 Update by this new deadline will not receive security updates.

The new deadline is for consumer customers of Windows 8.1, said Microsoft in a blog post.

Microsoft said the majority of people have received the update.
