Maxeda deploys NCR to enhance customer experience

Maxeda DIY Group has deployed NCR technology to improve customer experience and increase sales.

More than 1,300 NCR POS systems will be deployed across Maxeda’s Brico, Plan it and Praxis chains throughout the Benelux region.

Maxeda can focus on its scan and smile strategy with 15-inch NCR RealPOS XR7 POS with receipt printers and consumer facing RealPOS DX 15 Display screens.

NCR has a versatile and high performance POS solution which helps the transactions to process quickly and securely.

NCR has also deployed customer facing screens to attract customers with marketing video and specials to boost sales.

Maxeda has more than 6,000 employees and operates in 370 stores across Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg.

“NCR’s RealPOS XR7 is easy to use for our employees and easy to maintain for our IT teams, making a solution a valuable addition to our stores,” said Peter de Greef, CIO at Maxeda DIY Group.

Maxeda is using NCR POS technology for more than a decade and XR7 POS upgrades the existing solution for better sales output.

To ensure customer satisfaction NCR Interact Partner, Centric is working together with NCR.

The NCR RealPOS XR7 is powered by the 4th generation Intel Core processor family.

Recently NCR has announced that it will provide point of sale (POS) solution to TEDi to improve customer service and drive sales.

Last month, MERKUR announced that it will equip its stores with innovative NCR self checkout solutions to reduce queues and improve customer service.
