Mahindra Satyam signs MoU with University of Petroleum & Energy Studies of Dehradun

Infotech Lead India: Mahindra Satyam has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with University of Petroleum & Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun, India.

The MoU aims at facilitating joint research and development projects and consultancies for mutual benefit.

This agreement will help students and faculty of Engineering Disciplines of UPES to gain industrial exposure and acquire practical competencies through trainings from Mahindra Satyam’s experts. In turn, UPES will design Certificate programs and conduct training sessions for the engineers at Mahindra Satyam.

“Mahindra Satyam is one of the first organizations to be associated with UPES. This MoU strengthens our partnership and focus on providing cutting edge solutions to the Energy and Utilities sector,” said BK Mishra, senior vice president and business head – Energy and Utilities, Mahindra Satyam.

This agreement will further add impetus to UPES’s endeavor to deeply connect with industry to design courses that are in complete alignment with industry, and develop functionally literate industry ready students.

“The agreement will provide opportunity to avail academic benefits for students, especially from Energy disciplines and also to faculty by encouraging industry interaction. The agreement will enable both the organizations to exchange skill-sets enhancing & strengthening their resources through mutual exposure,” said Parag Diwan, vice chancellor, UPES.
