L&T Technology Services (LTTS) has won a 5-year tech deal from vehicle maker BMW Group to provide engineering services for the company’s infotainment consoles targeted for its hybrid vehicles.
LTTS has its domain expertise and engineering leadership in transportation technologies. Engineers of LTTS will be providing services in the areas of software build and integration, infotainment validation and defect management.
LTTS has an existing Near Shore Center which provides engineering and R&D services for BMW Group’s infotainment consoles and its hybrid electric vehicles.
“Our transportation engineering services are enabling OEMs to build innovative and sustainable vehicles and achieve faster time to market using new age digital technologies,” said Abhishek Sinha, Chief Operating Officer of L&T Technology Services.
