LogMeIn unveils next generation of Xively IoT solution

LogMeIn has unveiled the next generation of its Xively Internet of Things (IoT) solution.

The new solution will help the companies to bring secure, Internet connected products to while and accelerating their transition into connected product businesses.

The new Xively is built on a new ultrafast and highly secure connectivity platform.

The companies can securely capture, analyze and take actions on connected product data as the new Xively has introduced new management capabilities.

Boston based company has also introduced foundation for building first-of-their-kind connected business applications which means applications will bring connected product and connected customer information to line-of-business workers.

Company officials said that product companies can embrace the Internet of Things to securely connect and scale new or existing products, manage and act on IoT data, and transform the ways they engage with their customers and partners.

IoT customer base is responsible for performance, security, data privacy and management innovations introduced in the new Xively.

Company officials said IoT customer base includes IoT first movers in the consumer product goods manufacturing, home automation, light industrial, and life sciences industries.

The new Xively is designed to meet the evolution of businesses and has three stages: Connect, Manage and Engage.

Additionally, it provides fast, secure and scalable connectivity foundations so that companies can manage connected product data to inform business decisions.

Xively also includes Blueprint to support data privacy and security and to manage the roles, permissions and relationships of all the people, products, partners and applications in the connected business.

To empower businesses with alerts, triggers, reports and new customers, partners and product insights new capabilities provide management of connected products and connected product data.

In June last year, LogMeIn launched BoldChat, an in-app and browser based chat option that enhances multichannel customer engagement to help businesses capitalize on the rapidly growing number of mobile consumers.
