Helical IT Solutions, an open source DWBI company, announced it has been appointed as the system integration partner by Jaspersoft, a leading business intelligence provider, in India/South Asia region.
As the system integration partner, Helical IT Solutions will provide services for Jaspersoft’s BI suite including reporting, dashboards, ad-hoc and OLAP analysis, ETL/data integration.
Earlier in 2013, Helical IT Solutions bagged a seed funding of INR 2.5 million from Singapore based Citibank official. The funding was aimed at partnering with BI vendors in the open source space such as Jaspersoft and Pentaho.
Helical IT Solutions’ knowledge of both Business Intelligence applications and the Jaspersoft BI platform is bound to ensure successful development and deployment of BI solutions, the company said.
Royce Buñag, vice president Asia Pacific at Jaspersoft, said the company was impressed with Helical IT Solutions’ knowledge of BI solutions. “They have already shown themselves to be a valuable partner with current and ongoing customer engagements.”
Jaspersoft’s open source business intelligence solutions is the world’s most widely used BI software, with more than 8 million total downloads worldwide and more than 10,000 commercial customers in 96 countries, the company said.
