Jamie’s Italian deploys NCR cloud solutions

Jamie’s Italian has deployed NCR Cloud Solutions to engage customers more efficiently and operate with greater efficiency.

The restaurant chain will have NCR’s Aloha Table Service point of sale software to process its order and payments easily.

Jamie’s Italian will increase speed of service in the kitchen and improve its operating efficiency with the new technology deployed for its first restaurant in Brazil.

NCR will also help the restaurant in controlling costs and reducing losses while managing stock in real time.

The company said with NCR configuration Center’s above store capabilities the restaurant can improve its operational efficiency t the store level their Brazilian location.

To simplify the management’s daily work, each new item or price change on the menu is automatically synchronized.

A cloud based mobile app, NCR Pulse Real Time, will provide management team visibility into its day to day operations.

In order to improve the dining experience the servers will use NCR Orderman handheld devices to place orders and receive payments at the table.

“NCR’s mobile and cloud-based solutions allow us to achieve our long-term goals while providing us a platform that can grow along with us,” said Marcel Gholmieh, Jamie’s Italian CEO.

Few days ago, Buffalo Wild Wings has deployed NCR cloud enabled restaurant solutions for its first location in Asia in Philippines.

In February, Zing Leisure, Burger King Franchise selected NCR restaurant technology to improve customer experience and the efficiency of its business across 18 restaurants.

NCR Corporation announced in January this year that Jake’s Finer Foods, a foodservice distributor serving Texas and Louisiana is using NCR Power Delivery to automate the process of food service delivery.
