IT deals: SAP, IBM, Array Networks, Infor, Qualitest, VOTI Detection, Comcast Business, FloSports, 6WIND, among others, announced their IT deals or technology deployments for their business customers.
IBM
IBM announced its Cloud deal with Smart Energy Water (SEW), a global energy and water cloud platform provider serving over 150+ utilities worldwide, to leverage the IBM Cloud for SEW platform global deployment over the next five years.
Array Networks
Array Networks said it is working with several smart city projects including cities of Nagpur, Ahmedabad, Davengere, among others. Smart city projects have contributed to Array Networks to achieve 40 percent growth in 2018. Array Networks aims to work with 20 more smart cities in 2019
Infor
Infor announced that health food and personal care company Midsona has gone live with the first phase of its roll out of Infor CloudSuite Food and Beverage. Midsona will use Infor technology in the cloud replacing five ERP systems delivering savings in terms of software licence costs and a reliance on external consultants.
Qualitest
Qualitest, a managed services provider of quality assurance and testing solutions, announced its deal with Nobia to become its quality assurance partner of choice as it migrates to SAP’s S/4HANA platform.
SAP
SAP announced it exceeded 1,000 customers using its continuous performance management (CPM) functionality in just two years since its launch. The Timken Company and Arla Foods are some of the latest customers for SAP.
VOTI Detection
VOTI Detection, a developer of X-ray security systems based on 3D Perspective technology, announced its tech deal with Carnival Cruise Line for supplying 91 units at nine of the company’s North American cruise ship ports.
Comcast Business
Comcast Business announced that it supports North of Boston Media Group and its family of publications, including The Eagle-Tribune, by offering network solutions.
FloSports
FloSports, a provider of live digital sports and original content selected TVU Networks, a provider of live IP video solutions, to address its growing need for on-location live video capturing and sharing.
6WIND
6WIND, a networking software company, announced that JHComp, an Internet Service Provider (ISP) based in Czechia, replaced its Brocade Vyatta vRouters with 6WIND’s 10G Turbo Routers.
NetApp
NetApp announced that the company will renew its sponsorship of the Ducati Team in the 2019 MotoGP World Championship, enabling the digital transformation of motorcycle racing. NetApp’s engineers are working with Ducati’s IT team to optimize data fabric and meet the motorcycle manufacturer’s data storage and data management needs.
Intel
Intel said Arsenal FC, Liverpool FC and Manchester City will leverage Intel True View to capture every match element from every angle. Intel’s volumetric technology will bring more action on the football ground.
Telebu
Telebu has deployed its audio conferencing product called grptalk for the revenue department of Karnataka in Shivamogga. This conference call facility is expected to enable the administration to communicate with over 5,000 officers from different departments on a single call through the phone.
T Systems
T-Systems supported Zuellig Pharma, a healthcare services group in Asia, in implementing SAP HANA in the Public Cloud. This is T Systems’ largest SAP customer installation in the Asia-Pacific region, with more than 10,000 users and one million SAPS.
Tech Mahindra
Tech Mahindra has renewed its contract with KMD that is estimated over $50 million. Tech Mahindra’s services to KMD will include Application Outsourcing – SAP, Microsoft, Testing, Application Development, Application Modernization, ERP implementation, amongst others.
