IT deals: SAP, Cognizant, Vertica analytics, Serco

Cognizant has implemented a digital solution enabling MG Motor India to deliver a seamless brand experience to customers of the Hector SUV.  The digital solution has enabled MG Motor India to extend its in-car connected vehicle experience to all phases of a customer’s brand experience ― from consideration, evaluation, purchase to use.


MDA, a Maxar company, has two contracts from the Canadian Space Agency for work on Phase A of the Gateway External Robotic Interfaces project.

GSE Systems

GSE Systems, a provider of professional and technical services to clients in the power and process industries, has signed a contract from a major US nuclear operating company to deliver a Data Validation & Reconciliation (DVR) solution for improving the system coherency, reliability and availability of the utility’s fleet of nuclear reactors.

Vertica analytics

Vertica analytics platform has delivered 144 percent ROI for its customer Criteo, according to a case study published by Nucleus Research. Criteo has experienced year-over-year revenue growth and increased productivity from faster processing and task automation with Vertica. Since deployment, the organization has seen an average revenue increase of more than 21 percent and improved IT productivity that saved the company more than $500,000.


ARUP Laboratories (ARUP), a reference laboratory, and Techcyte, a developer of artificial intelligence (AI) based image analysis solutions for the diagnostics industry, have developed the world’s first AI-augmented ova and parasite detection tool.

Ultimate Software

Ultimate Software, a provider of human capital management (HCM) and employee experience solutions, announced that Pivot Technology Solutions, a full-service information technology provider, is using UltiPro to more effectively manage its human capital globally.


Serco announced that the U.S. Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific has awarded Serco one of four contracts worth $44.4 million on a Special Projects and Electronic Systems Engineering Support indefinite-delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award.


Emirates NBD, a bank in the Middle East, has selected SAP to implement SAP Financial Services Data Platform. It is powered by SAP in-memory data platform, SAP HANA and can now deliver customer intelligence across all Emirates NBD Group market segments, entities and countries.
