Retail major Walmart has selected Penn Foster’s upskilling platform for healthcare to prepare workers for opportunities in health professional fields. Penn Foster’s digital platform enables employers to deliver career-specific coursework through a online and work-based learning skills development program. Walmart’s 1.5 million associates in the U.S. will be able pursue roles as opticians or pharmacy technicians through an online curriculum that costs learners $1 per day.
