Oracle, IBM, General Dynamics, among others, have announced their latest IT deals or technology deployments.
Oracle
Oracle announced its deal with SDK.finance for using Oracle Blockchain Platform for a secure payment system in the payments industry. SDK.finance will be integrating Oracle Blockchain Platform into its core payment platform to provide a secure payment system that removes the need for intermediaries, such as correspondent banks and clearing houses, said Pavlo Sidelov, chief technical officer of SDK.finance.
IBM
IBM announced Code and Response, a $25 million, four-year deployment initiative to put open source technologies developed as part of coding challenges such as Call for Code in the communities. Code and Response will pilot Project Owl, the winning solution from Call for Code 2018, in disaster-struck regions like Puerto Rico, North Carolina, Osaka, and Kerala.
General Dynamics
General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) announced its $491 million deal with the Defense Information Systems Agency’s (DISA) Joint Service Provider Enterprise Transport Management-Next Generation (JSP ETM-NG) program.
