Swift Tactical Systems, a subsidiary of Swift Engineering, has won a $17 million contract to provide Bahamas government agencies and ministries with a Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) program. The multi-agency drone program includes the purchase of 55 short and medium-range drones, immediate surveillance capabilities, training and support, and the establishment of a regional drone academy.
Blue Nile, an online diamond jeweler, has selected Oracle Cloud Applications to provide customers with more choices, information, and service. Blue Nile used Oracle Cloud to streamline financial operations and enhance customer experience.
Peraton has received four U.S. Navy Unmanned Maritime Systems Support (UMSS) task orders valued at $27.45 million.
Mendix, a Siemens business and supplier of low-code and no-code application development for enterprises, has supplied its low-code platform to Rabobank to build a new online-only banking portal called RaboDirect. Mendix has helped Rabobank to reduce IT costs by 50 percent and attributed to delivering a seamless digital customer experience by providing the low-code platform to create the RaboDirect portal.
