Exabeam
Exabeam, a SIEM company, announced its deal with NTT DATA Corporation to secure its global operations using Exabeam’s Security Management Platform (SMP). Exabeam’s security platform provides data collection, machine learning and analytics for cyber threat detection and response.
Moody’s Analytics
Moody’s Analytics announced its deal with CapX Partners, a Chicago-based equipment finance provider, for the deployment of Moody’s Analytics RiskCalc Small Business solution to simplify access to capital for SMB businesses.
Infor
Infor, a cloud software company, announced its deal with Finest Shoes, an Italian footwear manufacturer, for the deployment of Infor M3 Fashion with Infor Accelerator for Fashion.
Infor partner and digital fashion specialist Venistar will deploy the application to support in strategic decision making, visibility and boost production at the fashion footwear brand.
Compuverde
Compuverde announced that German state tech university Hochschule Ostwestfalen-Lippe (OWL University) has expanded its storage across three campuses using Compuverde’s vNAS solution. OWL University has achieved stronger data security, better performance and lower overhead, administration and maintenance costs with the deployment of the software-defined storage solution.
Oracle
Cafe Anatolia, a New Zealand company specializing in Turkish cuisine sourced from fresh, has selected Oracle to expand to new locations. Cafe Anatolia will use Oracle Food and Beverage Simphony Cloud.
Boeing
Boeing has won a $2.46 billion U.S. defense contract for the production and delivery of 19 P-8A Poseidon long-range anti-submarine warfare and surveillance aircraft and other equipment.
Google Cloud
Ad software firm OpenX announced a 5-year deal for $110 million plus with Alphabet Inc’s Google to use its cloud computing services in what the companies described as a first for the online ads industry.
Accenture
Accenture has won a $49.4 million IT contract to modernize the payroll, leave-management and core human resources functions that serve more than 600,000 U.S. Air Force men and women.
Donuts
Donuts, a provider of Internet domains, announced that publishing platform WordPress.com has selected the Donuts Relevant Name Search (RNS) engine for use with all international-language domain searches on the WordPress.com website.
IBM
Aetna, Anthem, Health Care Service Corporation, PNC Bank and IBM announced a new collaboration to create a network using blockchain technology to improve transparency and interoperability in the healthcare industry.
Infor
Infor announced that Stokke, the Norwegian manufacturer of children’s furniture and prams, has deployed Infor CloudSuite M3 throughout operations in Europe, the US and Asia. The Infor application will help enable Stokke to reduce complexity and ensure IT strategy is dedicated to business development than technical maintenance.
Ex Libris
Ex Libris, a ProQuest company, announced that Washington State University (WSU) has selected the Ex Libris Esploro research services solution to optimize the university’s research workflows.
